Solar Energy Systems, LLC (SES), is a leading integrator of commercial solar electric systems in the Northeastern United States. SES designs, engineers and builds solar photovoltaic (PV) installations utilizing locally licensed tradespersons.

SES has over a decade of experience in the solar industry in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Founded in 1998, and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, we serve the New Jersey market from our Newark location, while our Hawthorne, NY, office covers New York State, and Connecticut. And our Denver office covers the Colorado market.

SES operates in both the public and private sectors, bringing the advantages of solar energy to commercial and industrial clients, nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities, government agencies, and multiunit residential developments.

SES streamlines the complex process of solar electric integration, providing expertise at every project stage from financing and engineering, to deployment and ongoing support.

Our team fully assesses the unique characteristics of each client's site in order to recommend the system that best accommodates their specific needs; maximizing both solar energy output and the resulting economic and environmental benefits. We draw upon a decade of experience when navigating policies, regulations, and incentives that are critical to delivering a successful project.

Solar Energy Systems, LLC, has twice been recognized for Outstanding Performance by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and is the first clean-tech investment by the New York City Investment Fund (NYCIF.org), a private fund with a civic mission.

Solar Energy Systems, LLC, has North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Certified Solar PV Installers on staff. SES is recognized as an Eligible Solar PV Installer by New York funding entities NYSERDA and Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), as well as New Jersey’s Clean Energy Fund. SES is an Electrical Limited Solar Contractor (PV1) in Connecticut and is a Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Eligible Installer.
